Harini is a South Indian film playback singer, who has mostly worked with noted film composer A. R. Rahman, but also with other famous composers as Ilayaraaja, Vidyasagar, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Harris Jeyaraj. She is married to another Kollywood Singer Tippu.
She has sung in films including Indira (1995), Indian (1996), Iruvar (1997), Padayappa (1999), Alaipayuthey (2000), Dheena (2000), Thulluvadho Ilamai (2001), Dumm Dumm Dumm (2001) and Anniyan (2005).
Harini has also made her voice presence in number of Telugu and Kannada songs.
